Shri V.P.R. College of Education was started by Shri V.P.R. Educational society in Jan 2006 is recognized by NCTE and affiliated by Tamilnadu Teachers Educational University. Our Institution is committed to produce eminent teachers with rich philosophical value to meet special requirements of Secondary and Higher Secondary students and to undertake extra mural studies, extension programme and field outreach activities to contribute the development of the society.

Our resources training enable student teachers to achieve the following objectives.

• To develop skills involved in selecting, developing and using evaluation tools.
• To acquire knowledge and develop an understanding of various aspects of school management.
• To develop competencies for organizing various instructional and student support activities.
• To develop an appreciation of the role of the teacher in the prevailing socio-cultural and political system in general and the educational system in particular.
